2:00 PM 8/19/10 in order for us to make sure the CD will play on our system. You
may bring it by or mail to P.O. Box 1712 Columbia, TN 38401. JUST MAKE SURE WE
HAVE IT BY THAT TIME AND DATE

The Maury County Fair Board reserves the right to make changes
in rules. If event is canceled for any reason, entry fees will be refunded.
Maury County’s Got Talent
Rules
1. You will sing one song on the first night.
If you are selected to come back for the finals the next night, be prepared to sing a
different song.
2. CD’s only No Cassettes
3. CD must contain music only, no lead singing, however, some
discs contain backup singing, that will be acceptable.
4. CD must be marked with your name and the track that you are
singing.
5. If we do not have enough contestants, this year, to have a
two night event, we will award the prize the first night.
6. You may sing any genre of music. Please do not bring any
explicit lyrics or any material that is not suitable for a family oriented
event.
7. You will be judged by 3 judges.
8. You will be judged on appearance, stage presence,
and vocals.
9. You may not play guitar, piano, or any other instrument. CD’s
and vocals only.
10. A sound engineer will be mixing your music. If you should
have anything to discuss with him, please do so well before the contest starts.
11. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED IN FAIRGROUNDS.
12. We encourage you to bring a crowd to cheer for you.
13. Your entry fee includes your admission to the fair for one or
both nights.
14. The Maury County Fair reserves the right to make any changes
necessary as to rules, times, dates, etc. This event my be canceled if we do not
receive 20 contestants.
